• Completed a year of training at Foreign Service Academy in Virginia including instruction in the Dutch language, as well as a structured schedule of demanding courses and simulations on the conduct of U.S. Diplomacy.
• Managed staff of four and served as the single U.S. government point of contact for the American expatriate community and over one million yearly visitors to the Netherlands.
• Provided emergency services with tact, consideration, and efficiency in cases of U.S. citizen missing persons, destitution, death, illness, custody disputes, and incarceration.
• Trained and assisted in Consulate (U.S. Government) property and personnel security.
• Liaised with Dutch authorities regarding law enforcement intelligence, U.S. citizen access, negotiations regarding visa regulations, citizenship disputes, and international agency facilitation.
• Served as Third Secretary, Vice Consul of the U.S. Consulate in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and was assigned as Economics Officer to U.S. Embassy in Honduras before resigning.
